Get Ready for the 46th Annual Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Voted the 2009 Best Road Race in Alberta, the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is a challenging, competitive and fun event with a race designed for everyone of any level. There is a full marathon, half-marathon, 10 km, 5 km family walk or run and kids' marathon.
With a two-day Fitness Expo, the new Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge and race day festivities, the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is more than a race - it is a spirited community event that celebrates sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles and community participation. In 2009 over 8,500 participants took to the streets and close to $130,000 was raised for charity. |

New for 2010 - The Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge Run for you and your community The Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge lets you participate in the event while raising funds for one of our official charities. In its first year, a limited number of charities will be invited to participate. The complete list of official charities for the 46th running of the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon will be unveiled soon. You can donate directly to official charities when you register online. Join a Strides Winter/Spring Running Clinic! If you're just starting a running program, looking to improve your time or need a boost in your training, look no further than Strides 2010 Winter/Spring Clinics leading up to the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon.
We offer clinics for every level of runner, from beginner to advanced. Strides group clinics provide a safe, fun training environment; featuring expert coaches who will help you achieve your personal running goals.
